The Old Wool Bank

Many years ago the old woodbank and land by Kimbolton Road got sold. The owners leased us the land and buildings for a peppercorn rate for nearly eight years. Finally the day has come to move out as the owners wanted to develop the site, and they asked if we could clear the building and the track from the land for them. This we did and sold the material to raise funds for Feilding Steam Rail. The shed was dismantled during 2004 and 2005.

Inside the old Woolbank Shed 30 January 1999
Taking time for a cup of coffee. There are basically no facilities available except shelter and a power point, but we were still able to make a hot cuppa.
