An excellent 20 minute video production designed for the general
public, which shows plenty of steam action whilst also showing the
activities of the Feilding Steam Rail Society. This production shows
the first excursion by Wab794 in 50 years as it heads from Feilding to
Palmerston Norrth, then through the Manawatu Gorge to Woodville and
back. Excerpts from trips to Ohakune, Wanganui and the trips to view
the huge slips in the Manawatu Gorge are also featured. For the kids
there is a marvellous sequence on Thomas the Tank Engine day at
Feilding yards. This is a well made documentary that is packed full of
interest and compelling steam action. And you'll really love the last
shot of the film - it's fantastic!
