These V wagons are water proof and made of steel, and were used to move chilled and frozen goods. They had no refridgeration fitted and required ice to be loaded into the ice boxes at the ends though hatches on the roof. These were generally used between freezing works and the wharf for export of frozen lamb and beef.
It is positioned on the ground for storage.
